Default Making a 12 o'clock bar

Was wondering, how hard can it be to make your own 12 o'clock bar.

A friend of mine has a 2002 F4i and is looking to buy, but we got to thinking. Is it not just two straight bars coming off the subframe and a single straight bar connecting them at the end.

Surely, someone here has tried this? Where do I start?

stand the bike up straight up and down...u can either take a board and press it flat side to the rear wheel (standing the board up and down as well) this will show the angle u want...clamp the side struts down to your subframe and usethe board to show you the angle the scrape plate needs to be at...just mark the line on the struts and cut and weld a scrape plate on.
