How many teeth?
I have an 02 F4i and I also have an 05 1000RR, the 1000 RR is my nice bike and the F4i is my play bike.
I have a -1 now and can pop the front end up pretty easy. But now that I have the 1000RR, I was thinking of adding some teeth to the F4i. I have read some who have done the "pizza" sprocket and was thinking of doing that since I have two bikes.
What are the advantages of going with such a large sprocket? Can you lift the front end up in all the gears? Whats the max speed of a 60 tooth or higher?
Whats the disadvantages of such a large sprocket? Since I have two bikes, the highway riding won't be an issue.
Do I need to get a new chain also, I am guessing that I do. I have a RK chain now and Vortex sprockets and they have been great so far.

I've ran 15/47 on my race bike and it works great at Barber. As per your question I would stay away from Vortex sprockets if you're intending to pop wheelies. The sprockets aren't that great in my honest opinion, they seem to not hold up well to the stress. You will need a longer chain, if you don't change the chain size, your rear wheel will probably be touching your swingarm. For going up to such a large size in the rear, you'll probably have to go down to a 14 tooth front sprocket as well. I'm sure you wouldn't have any problem getting the bike up, just keep your rear pressure low.

I wouldn't go pizza sprocket unless your seriously dedicating that bike to being a parking lot ***** (and have a trailer to get it there) - I forget the stock sprocket sizes for "F" series and only been on a stock F4i a few times so sprocket sizes for a stunt bike is out of my league.
I do concur what abeer said about vortex sprockets - my mechanic and lots of locals here in vegas have told me to stay away from vortex.
I've talked to Apex a few times at Motocafe about sprockets and my kawi (seeing how he also rides a 636) and his best advice is to stunt the bike with stock gearing because any bike can wheelie in 1st and 2nd gear. He told me to get THAT down and then change out sprockets if you want it come up quicker. His logic is a stock gearing takes longer (more feet) to actually get the wheelie up. (just food for thought)

since ur 1 liter is ur 'serious' bike and ur f4i is your play bike.. mind as well go all out with the play bike.. get a cage, 12 bar, and maybe a 52T rear sprocket. i have a 60t and my top speeds like 120... not fun.. with a 52 you'll probably get like 160 top speed but who the hell speeds like that all the time right?
