I always thought the foam padding was to help your shins after kicking your cage on accident...or your knees for that matter... but i bet it would prolly help in cushioning the bike too.... hmmmm

yea i got it for both, get it at home depot just ask for pipe insulation like i said my **** came in a pack of 4 tubes, 2 feet long, about 2 inches across with a 1 inch hollow inside and a slit down one side so u can slide it onto pipe, just ziptie and rolll

just got 6 feet @ home depot...$5...they didn't come in packs....put em all around my cage...zip-ties all over....
only bad thing...i cut the remainder of the zip ties w/ a scissor...theyre kinda sharp and pointy now but its all good.
props to whover came up with this idea.
