looping in second
hows it going i had some questions about wheelies in second gear. ive posted before about wheelies and i didnt get all my questions answerd. iv been told to trycluthen it in first to start with then iv been told to do it in second. what are my chances of looping itgoing to be in second gear. i also wanted to know is the bike going tojump up as vileant as it does in first gear. one more questionwhere does the rpms have to be when i pull the clutch in and where should they be when i let it out if im in second gear. alright somebody please help me with this one.
its not really an exact science dude its more of just a feeling so rpms might differ just practice dude 12 oclock is wayy wayyyy wayyyy back there, but if youre cluthin first you could loop easily, second im not sure about i never ridden an rr
its easy to loop in first, but it hurts less if/when you do it.
second is harder to loop, but hurts much more than first.
don't ask where the rpm's should be. your eyes should be on the road not the tach.
keep the rear brake covered, if you get scurred just press down.

okay, look, I got my bike a few months ago, and i dont understand why you dont just try this stuff.
Start in first gear, go about 25 mph, slip the clutch rev it up to about 9-10k rpms and see how far the front comes up. repeat the process until you find the right rpm and speed match to do it comfortably. After a lil bit of practice you shouldnt need to pay attention to the rpms you should just feel it.
Cover the rear brake and dont get to cocky. I cant help with second gear because i havnt started learning them yet.
also, use the search button, there are bajillions of wheelie threads.

suicidal... if he does that hes gonna loop his RR.... you got him looking at the tach again, not good. Just cover up your guages and listen to your engine... start little by little and work your way up... theres really no other way to do it than to practice
if you want to practice wheelies take your ****ing guages off for the last time kids just take them the **** off so you dont look at them, its not a science its a feeling and balance point is not a degree its more of a window, stop being pussies and go practice!!!!!!!!!!!

Im in the same boat as you. Getting to bp I can do, just cant keep it there cause my throttle hand seems closely connected to my feeling of "OH****CHERFALLIN!" hahahah oh well, it happens. I wasnt telling you no no no, just tryin to let him know that it should be more of a sound/feeling rather than the gauges, no biggie... but jz on the other hand [&:] I guess im gonna have to start packin too comin on here if hes gonna keep postin
hahahah j/k bro
