clutch question

RE: clutch question
just because it slips doesnt mean you need new plates... you might just need to adjust it like sorad saidor change the oil if you got some "friction reducers" in your current oil.....
also.... grabbing the clutch if it goes too high? isnt that a nono? you want as much engine brake as you can get if its trying to loop on you, so pulling the clutch will just allow it to keep rolling and if your past bp, rolling you back.......
It may be easier to clutch up when its cold due to the fact that cold air = +++HP Cooler air creates more horsies due to it being more condensed, as opposed to hot air, which is thin. The same reason you get more hp at sea level (more condensed air) compared to places that are above sea level (less condensed air) I dont remember what it is but people had it figured out that you lose X amount of HP per 1000 ft above sea level....
Im with JZ... i can abuse it all day and at the end of the session it still comes up the same as the beginning...
anyways, just practice, do the clutch tests, and the only way your gonna get it to come up where you want it is if you snap your throttle hand. You cant be lazy with the gas while slippin and expect it to come up right. Its all in technique.
