RE: Burnouts?
Okay, i Will paste it here. A guy named "Spuds" Wrote this and a link to his site is in the above post.
"
Tips for doing Motorcycle burnouts 1. Turn on the motorcycle and keep it in first gear. 2. Pull in the front brake and the clutch all the way. 3. With your right thumb turn the throttle while remaining four fingers holding on the front brake and other hand hold clutch, get up to about 7000-8000 RPMs. 4. Make sure to stand solidly on your feet (if you are still learning do the standing one first) ALL OF YOUR FEET touching the ground, to from an A shape with your legs so that your thighs or knees hold the bike from going too much to the right or too much to the left. 5. Slowly start to release the clutch while keeping the front brake pulled tightly. 6. You will feel your back tire start to spin, but you won't go anywhere as long as you keep on the front brake. 7. Keep accelerating, you will be making a lot of smoke and turning a lot of heads. 8. When you are done, pull in the clutch all the way or release the throttle your thumb"

I've done one with my bike and the only difference was I had a number 9. Open all the garage doors so I could see and breath again.

Rolling burnouts? Explain please.
Number 9? Whats that? Tire size?
Yah i will have to slow down a bit on my tires. Only have about 3/16 ths of depth in my tread now.

RE: Burnouts?
Stationary burnouts are for kiddies...never could see the point of them myself?
BTW..I do not do them on my CBR1000...
I did quite allot on my other rides over the years..
Rolling ones at least are a great spectacle ...
We used to do what we called "curbies" starting them parked at right angles to the road.. rear wheels backed up to the curb...
Then hitting the gas with the front locked , small stationary warm up burnout, then letting the bike cruise out slowly away from the curb while at the same time turning onto the road, all with as big an arch shaped burnout slide as you could manage(without high siding) ...then holding the brake and burning out for as long as you could up the road...
They were a rather spectacular way to take off from shops and friends houses...
