Default ? abouy clutchin wheelies

I have a question about clutchin wheelies...i'm beginning to experiment with it and was wondering how it specifically works. I've watched MANY videos on it and read many forums.. But i have a question.

Do you keep the throttle the same, and then just pull in clutch slighty and dump it?
Or do you pull in clutch, increase throttle and then dump it?

So i guys what im trying to ask is shouldn't you just be able to pull the clutch in, keep the throttle at the same postition ( disengaging the clutch will allow no friction on the motor meaning it'll climb in rpms to its powerband) and then dump it?

what up,on my 929 i do clutch wheelies.im not in to the slow stuff i like the freeway wheelies at 80mph so i never pop it up in first.2nd gear wheelies i roll bout 25mph and grab the clutch and run the rpm up to iguess 7-10grand i dont know i go by what i feal not the tach.i can go on and on just like u have read and watched im sure.nothing is more instrucional than going to a empty street and practice practice no forum or dvd can teach u the way you are gonna feal comftable doing wheelies.everyone has thier own technique, and some guys never get it to the balance point and feal comftable..just be safe and roll slow and give ur clutch little pops to get the wheel up and then u start to know how much throttle u need to give it when u let OUT THE CLUTCH.all u need is patience, and practice it will not happen over night,...man sorry i wrote u a book...good luck.

Depending on your ***** and confidence i've heard of people getting good at wheelies after practicing a couple days. While for me I feel like i've been out practicing for months and I still get sketched out. It all comes down to practice and getting comfortable with the bike coming up. Go at it at your own pace and just keep practicing, it'll happen just don't feel like you need to rush anything.
