wheelies?
I am trying to get the hang of wheelies on my 91 f2 but i just cant get the front up that far. my friend that has had a 96 fzr for 2-3 years can do them like cake on the f2 he says sit down ones are started at 6k rpm. can anyone help me try to learn i dont want to pop the clutch either b.c i need a new sproket kit
Bring the bike up to 7 grand while riding in first gear. let go of the gass a little, then hit the gas to about 9000. the front end will come up. then ccontrol it by giving gas to keep it up or releasing the gas to go back down, That's it
A bigger sprocket? well, I've been doing wheelies on my f2 and found that the best way to wheelie is to clutch it in first! go about 5-10 mph then rev it then release the clutch but keep your throttle hand steady. You'll notice you will get the front up about a few inches then as you start to get use to it, rev it up a lil higher... so on so on... but make sure you take it easy. It takes time! Good luck
ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS GET THE RPM'S TO ABOUT 7 GRAND AND THEN PULL THE CLUTCH IN AND REV IT TO ABOUT 11 GRAND AND THEN DUMP THE CLUTCH. THE FRONT WILL STAND STRAIGHT UP THEN FIND THE BALANCE POINT. THATS WHAT I DO
i cant pop my clutch my sproket need to be replaced and i dont want to put any more presure with poping the clutch but i should stop trying wheelie all together till i get this fixed
yihaw sounds like you need to tighten your chain, or atleast make sure that you have the proper chain tension when you ride the bike.
When you get the new sproket and chain, you will need to adjust the chain a bunch at first, then just keep an eye on the chain.

when you are at about 5g or so pull the throttle back, when it starts to feel squirly quickly let off and pull back. you can't really go by a spec. rpm...that's what i was trying to do to start, but not all bikes are the same and the weight difference between riders makes quite a difference too.
