That way you'll never learn... I ride a LOT at night.

He probably knows the route quite well. I ride pretty hard (nothing crazy) at night on roads that I know. If I don't know them (and there is no streetlighting) then I'll turn my high beam on (6k HID). I also always have my iphone/navigation on which shows me what kind of turn is coming up.

(It also warns me for fixed speed cameras... Also a good reason to always have it on. )

Yeah it asks my how my day was.

I have it connected to my helmet via soms speakers. It tells 'beware' when I go just over the speed limit for that particular road and says' beware, watch your speed' when there is a speed camera.

It doesn't tell me what kind of bend is coming like the guy sitting next to a rally car driver but the display is very clear. If there is hairpin coming I'll see it way ahead.

It'll send me the wrong way sometimes but the positioning itself I trust.

I only really use it (as in to judge the corners) when the road is poorly lit though. My HID kit also gives me plenty light.

spirited pace on a new road i dont know. HELL NO.

a road i hit up at least once a week, and have memorized. Hell yes. You can see headlights/flashlights from way far off. if someone is stopped in the middle of the road/going 5mph you can see them(assuming their lights are on).

avoid dusk/dawn also. bambi.
