I agree. Even when riding straight i hold on with my legs. I've seen videos of guys gripping the bars tight and they get tank slappers, and I'm talking about on straighaways too, god forbid gripping too tight in a corner. I never make it a goal of mine to drag my knee. Yes it felt like an accomplishment the first time, but I never really aim for it unless it's needed. I keep the ***** of my feet on the pegs, almost only my toes. You'll understand when you drag your boot one time, you'll fix that quick. One thing I do too, is I never pull on my handlebars, I always push, idk why but I always feel like I have more forgiveness if I push, like I'm scared if I pull, I might pull to hard and can't fix it as quickly. With my body positioning, I'm tucked and try to use my chest as a ruler. This may not be ideal, but just leaning your butt off isn't enough to me. Leaning with my whole body and keeping my body aligned rather than twisted allows me to lean less as I have more weight leaned over. That also helps with looking since I don't need my neck turned 90 degrees to see my line, it's pretty straight. Hope it helps a little but most was covered already l;ol
