Cool 750 Hurricane RC27 streetfighter

Hey guys I'm new to the CBR world after mostly riding chops I've finally decided to get something with some power and style. I've managed to get hold of a partially streetfightered 1987 750 Hurricane or RC27 as it's also known as.

Having quite alot of ideas for my new Cane (Mainly to change that horrible tail to something more modern) I've had no luck finding subframe conversions on the 750's so I've decided to start my own and document the progress for any others who ever wish to do the same.

I've seen a few 1000f Cane's with a tail conversion and will follow a few of their ideas. At the moment I'm on the hunt for a full 1000rr tail unit and have a few leads so here's hoping I manage to strike gold in the next few weeks.

Any help or criticism from you guys both good or bad is and always will be appreciated

So This is what I'm hoping to get near without the single swing arm and undertail exhaust. Thinking more of an underbody exhaust with belly pan.

I'm thinking USDs but keeping the stock swing arm. I picked it up for £500 so still working on it's teething problems. The radiator switch needs replaced as I currently have the fan earthed to the frame and I think I need to clean out the carbs and I can feel a little lag at points.

I'm working on this and my chop while using this as my main runabout so it may be a slow process for now. fitted my Remus system last night and it's sounding alot nicer waiting on new bars, indicators and mirrors coming in.
