...dontcha wish you could get a closed course!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJheuVMVvyo

The intro is lame but the riding is hardcore.

I WANT TO KNOW WHERE THE HELL ARE THOSE CAMERA SHOTS ARE COMING FROM? Can anyone help? There's too many damn angles and I can't tell where the hell the cameras are!

The vid is a few years old, but still one of the best amature jobs I've ever seen done. Looks like they used wide angle bullet type cams, probably mounted on brackets mounted to the bike at various points since it never changes perspective of the bike or rider. Very sweet.

Is it just me, or was he off the throttle for the first half of the corners, then back on it?

Huh, I would really like to know where that was... The twisties where I live tend to be about 6k or 7k about sea level. I have tried to get my front end up like that out of corners on my 954 but it just doesnt want to happen(Ive got a tooth down in the front too). I would like to ride some canyons and not have to deal with little if any power loss due to the altittude!
I thought the vid was pretty cool. Made me want to go rip it up!!

I have everyone of those videos downloaded to my mp3/video player. I watch it in the truck, when I work my night job, and never get sick of them.

Yeah, the vid is sick as hell.

Moto, are you clutching? I can't imagine not being able to get that front wheel up on a 2nd gear corner! Are you in 4th? Bring your RPM's up, gears down. Utilize that RPM range and you'll be cracking wheelies out of the corners all day long.

For gawds sake though, learn/do that stuff somewhere other than a blind corner!

7k is the sweet spot for both the 929 and 954. No clutch needed, but it definitely makes it easier and consistent.
