RE: Wear your gear!
What about pants? I just bought a 2pc leather suit this year and I know I should but I just can't see spending 20minutes getting the whole darn thing on and sweating like a big to get to work 15minutes later and be smelly and sweaty all day. lol
I wear my textile jacket for riding to work and my short joe rocket gloves and my XL shoei helmet with my work shoes. When I go out riding now I wear either the top or both pieces of my leathers, gauntlet gloves and my L Arai helmet, and my racing boots. I only wear pants if I don't have a passenger, if I do then I just wear the jacket because how would I feel if we wrecked and she had all the leg road rash and I was ok.

RE: Wear your gear!
The saddest thing about watching that vid was the fact that the guy did not acknowledge the fact that if he was wearing his gear, he would have suffered much less.
Gloves would have saved his hands.
Leather jacket would have saved his road rash.
Heavy denim jeans (not your 10yr old thin *** blue jeans)or riding jeans would have held up allot better.
Bootsprobably would have helped with the foot injury.
My guess is that he did not have the properly sized helmet on. I dont see how you can get your beak chewed up like that if you have the correctly sized helmet on.
If he wasgeared up, he probably would just have a totalled bike and a broken collar bone.
Now he has to go through countless hours of washing and cleaningthatroad rash. Not fun. More pain in cleaningthen actually getting it IMO.
