He's really lucky. 3 feet to the right, or coming the other way, and he'd be dead. Darn good thing he doesn't ride in a tank top and shorts.

ya, that would be serious even if you were in a car let alone a motorcycle going the other way. i mean, it knocked his handle bars completely inverted... it's amazing he didn't go down

So, the other rider, instead of turning around and quickly RIDING back he parks his bike down the road, gets off and RUNS back?

From what I can understand, the guy the tree clobbered was his instructor, the guy who parked and ran back was a learner - so it is understandable.
