The R1 may not be leading the pack when it comes to putting power down on the road, but it certainly is fast enough that you will need to slow down before entering corners. That being said, I am reminded that I have read time and time again that if you want to get faster on the track or street for that matter; you are far better suited to invest your money and efforts in suspension and brakes. All the power and technical wizadry in the world are no substitute for a pilot and a machine that matched to one another.
