wow, that's crazy. How does he not continue past the pole though? Looks like his legs hit the pole, but the way he bounces back, it looks like he was tethered to a rope or something?

 

Yeah, that's a wierd one. He either hit's something we can't see or he's attached to the bike somehow. Amazing that he just get's up and he's clearly unhurt because he runs off!

 

Fuel and electricity ignited by the looks of it but damn he hit that pole hard. I'd be very surprised if he wasn't hurt, he did run off but adrenaline is some crazy stuff!

 

It's like there's a sheet of glass or perspex across the pavement. He obviously didn't have his lid done up. As he bounces backwards his head comes straight out of it. Let that be a lesson. He's a lucky guy!

Its amazing how dif the body reacts in dif circumstances. I've seen some really horrendous looking crashes where the riders got up & walked away...& other accidents that seemed extremely minor, where the rider was injured very badly, paralyzed, or even killed.
