Default I got bored today....

So I started shortening and refinishing my exhaust.

I had a little rash from a lowside late last year so I took care of that. I wasn't real big on the polished aluminum look (or the upkeep) So I went with a brushed finish. Here's the result. (the exit end cap isn't in all the way or riveted yet as I still need to install new packing)

Thanks! I'm happy with it. A new look and it didn't cost me anything. The midpipe took a little longer to fix then I had thought it would. Ended up having to sand it way down with the die grinder and brushing it too.

If you're worried then wrap the area you are going to cut neatly with a couple of layers of masking tape(I dont worry about this though). Use the thinest cutting disc available for a grinder. I use a high speed(20,000rpm) pneumatic die grinder with a thin cutting disc. Carefully smooth the edge after cutting with some light sand paper and "resin wipe" the edge to seal it. Any high temp epoxy resin will do. Oh, and nice job jp. Looks much better.
