I got bored today and decided to play with CF... i could have done better but didn't want to take the bike apart...Name:  DSC02010.jpg

where do you guys get CF that you can cut or do whatever it is you guys do to it. i would lover to cover my gauges and triple tree. looks good though.....*I* dont like the reservoir part, but so long as you do.

i get it in the cloth form by the yard..i just made a flat piece and a wooden template and passed it through a router.. my plan is to get a set of tails and a tank and CF them both...

good eye kamikazi, i didnt even see them there for a minute.

jersey: what are approximate costs on DIY CF? and what advice could you give me, i want to do my triple tree and gauges, and maybe a few other places, but have been told it is expensive. although they never came back to tell me why once i asked.

switches are for neons, strobes, and arming Nos...(i never used the nos and took the bottle off when i got the bike)

The resin cost's about 50-60 $ per gallon and the cf cost depends on where you get it...you can try here Carbcom

to make flat panels lay a few peices on glass and soak in resin....
to laminate a peice use spray glue to glue fabric in place....paint resin on (few layers) sand all the way to 600 then polish and clearcoat...
