Car beats bike?!!!

An old argument .. bike versus car..
It still amazes me that some guys think that a bike will out run a car no matter what the car
Bikes tend to feel fast because we are strapped on the outside of them!!..
A thought to ponder ..ever tried to hang on the boot of a turbo'ed car at full pace ...I think it would feel a bit more like a bike as far as speed goes then .
Sitting inside a hot car at full pace in the nice comfort of a bucket seat, is what makes them feel a bit tamer that bikes ..
We might be able to pull away from 90%-95% OF CARS
...but that other 5 - 10% ...hmmm??? you won't catch me trying to racie them ....

Well, from the video, if it only was a third gear race, then that could explain it. However, if that car (from what was inferred from the video info) was built and designed for power with a twin turbo engine, then I would suspect that it was designed to be a speed racer not only beating bikes, but pretty much almost anything on the road unless it is another speed racer. Put that car up against a plane and see what happens! LOL
If that race was to be a full powered race, then I would imagine that bikes with high top speeds would have smoked the car, but this was a controlled race and the car prevailed.
