it seems like a normal ride, nothing says anything about a race, actually says it wont be a race, but trophys are handed out for other stuff. seems like it would be nice to go on, they will have vehicle recovery support as well. still, $3Gs? screw that.

 

I look at it this way...

First-class hotels and meals itself for 8 days would probably rack up that much jack (I will say that it should be a tad cheaper if you book it as 2 bikes - maybe $4,500 total). Plus a recovery vehicle following you, man, can you really put a price on that on a big-*** road trip?

Man, sounds like a blast - I'd love to do it. Maybe next time...

 

IF I had the money for that run I would be there in a second. It says its not a race but you know there are going to be guys wanting to be the first across the finish line. I would just hang back and ride at my own pace and have a kick *** time.
