I can do a lot of track days (or anything else for that matter) for $3200 bones. If someone does do this, get this **** on film. Helmetcam.com. Do it. I would be fun, but a bit rich for my blood when I would much rather do stupid **** on the track and not pay for speeding tickets that will SURELY be gotten.

I'm guessing the hotels are a bit above The Sheridan prices... I bet this would be a blast an definitely worth the cash as a vacation.

Looks fun!

I'd rather do the cannonball in a fast sports car that can go 220+ if I had money... Not some 'cheap' sports bike.

Seems like it would be fun, BUT...............

The Gumball and Cannonball runs resulted in dozens of totalled cars, putting the drivers and passengers in the hospital. Now, intensify the same concept, but put all the new riders (many with little to no experience) on a bike and double the speed. It'll probablly get shut down 2 days in because of wrecks alone.

Again, it's a great concept if you get the right riders, but all it takes is one bad rider in a group to take everyone out.

I've always wanted to do the Gumball or Cannonball race in a car though. I would do it in my Dodge Shadow, LOL.

I think it would be a blast to do but I really dont want the enormous amount of tickets that would be gotten during a cannonball run. I think it would be great though if it were something legal. I would definatelly participate if that were the case.

the only reason why gumball has successed is because only people with money can enter with expensive cars and usually they have experience in speed and stupidity...

it is hella $$$ for it. i live in atlanta Ga and would love to set up a CBRFORUM RUN. from ATlanta to L.a... and every where in between, we could all meet each other up in each state along the way and end up in southern cali riding down the pacific coast highway.??
just a suggestion.. I would like to meet all the members on here since we seem to be a tight group of riders who are always willing to help answer questions, share storys and expierences, crack jokes, with one another..
