can you park any worse?
there's alot of good comments here about this. For the guys parked, they had all that room on the shoulder but still park on the road - WTF! what if a car did come down that side there parked on - makes the car go into the other lane and could cause another worse wreck with a head on collision. as for the rider who lost control he's going to pay for all of it because the other bikes were just sitting there.
At least the guy driving the R6 "looked the part." From my experience with these type of accidents, they person operating the motorcycle will be at fault. Yes the idiot stopping in the opposing lane of traffic is not good, but THAT is not the reason the R6 lost control and wrecked.
I was rear-ended in a rental car a few years back. The guy caromed off my vehicle, hit a house, caromed off the house and hit 2 cars parked on the road opposite of the house.
And i was found to be partially liable for the accident
So I'm speaking from experience when I say the rider's insurance can find a way to toss liability onto the parked bike owners
But nobody went in on why he went down. I say his throttle control. If you listen, you'll hear him gas it right before the rear kicks out.
