AMA Weekend @ VIR
sorry im doing this so late, but in Aug I attended the AMA weekend @ VIR and wow what a great time! I got my tix in April so i was waiting! We got there fri morn and hit the lower end of the track @ oak tree and watched some trackday riders before going upto the north course to watch practice.
on sat we went down to watch qualifing, cruise the padock etc. all the riders were super accesable and approachable. i met ben bostrom, tommy hadden, jake zemke, arron yates and others. I actually met elana myers the first female to win a pro race, and at 16!! all the races were cool like tommy hadens win over bostrom (ben blamed the flag man) also watched the closest AMA finish ever in the xr1200 series. ok thats enough talkn gonna post alot of pics. thanks for looking!! and get out to the races!! its cheap, and youll love it!!

pics pics pics. the last couple are of the zero (electric) bikes very strange but very cool. we took several hundred pics these are just a few. One thing i found strange was the lack of factory support which makes us going to the track even more important! suzuki has the only true factory team, Graves yamaha has semingly some suport, but no honda or kaw team. with that being said there were NO team trailors to buy stuff, but there were some venders.. either way enjoy the pics!!!
