Default Got it all out of the way this weekend

I just started riding a month ago. Well I started out Sat morning with my first road trip from ft bragg, nc to Newport news, va. Wasn't bad at all and had the hubby meet me on his gsxr on emporia That night, as I pulled out if a friends gravel driveway, I put my foot down and lost footing. Dropped the bike Sunday morning I decided to go on a ride thru some curvy roads. Did pretty good but came up on a 15mph turn out if nowhere. Almost went off the road but I saved it.
Needless to say, my butt puckered. Monday we went on a lil ride, then realized it was gonna storm soon. Was almost home when it started to storm bad. Hail, flooding, lightning and 60+ mph winds

My bike got fixed this morning...yay. no scratches and fresh paint
I also raced a C6 z06 on my hubby's gsxr 750 and won
Got back to bragg today and now im just a lil sore.

Put over 900 miles on my bike this weekend and still love it.
So I have now got all the firsts out if the way.

Im gonna have to lower it a little bit so I can plant both feet on the ground. I think that will help.

Glad you are ok and glad you are having fun and riding a lot! What are you riding anyway? F4i/600RR?

I still have a few first's (had some 'oh ****' moments but I have yet to drop a bike) that I will get to eventually even though I've been riding for ages. Have fun and don't mess up that shiny new paint! (Do a search for a 'how to' lowering thread on here. I think I saw some important points when lowering bikes so you don't mess up the geometry too much.)

PS: A month means very little if you are doing 900 mile weekends.

I have a 2011 600rr. I'm gonna make sure the bike is lowered properly. I don't want it too low.
I definitely am getting my experience in though. Lol.

I don't know why I didn't suggest that.

All she had to do was fabricate a retractable stepladder and stabilizer wheels.
