Default Fun weekend!

i just got back from bike week in laconia nh and it was alot of fun, after that we went up and rode the kancamagus highway wichis 32 miles of nonestop twisties! I posted a tread a while ago about a problem i was having and it happened again, i was crusing at 7k rmp and it seemed like the engine skiped, now when i started the bike up for the first time today i let it warm up for a few and we were at a camp were they were making alot of noise so me and my crew joined but my bike seemed to have lost spark or gas or something because it bogged rite out and cut off but then when i tried it again it didnt do it nearly as bad. i need help \. lol

Sounds like it could be your fuel pressure regulator. Have you pulled the plugs to see of they're fouled?

You can pull the vacuum line for the fpr and look for gas. If it's on it's way out, then there should be some gas in the line.

Good video. Just remember if you replace the FPR, try to run the tank very low on gas bc as soon as you disconnect the fuel line it will steady flow until reinstalled. I found out the hard way bc there is no fuel shut off valve.

i jsut pulled the plugs and they all looked great, but we noticed that the were only inthere finger tight, we still put the new ones in and i took it for a little ride and it seemed to rip pretty good but we will find out more when i take it this weekend for a long ride. also we found that taking the airbox out is MUCHHH easier then they way the manual says to do it..

Did you pull the tank or just prop it open? I think plugs are very soon on my todo list for the bike.

its about a 90 min job, prop the tank open, take out the air filter, the the stacks, then the few hoses/tubes, then prop the air box and have at it! not to bad
