alright ladies, here's a mock up so far with the mods:
handlebars were a pain with the wire routing
made a hole to let the cables out

good. that's where i was kind of going with it - it needs to be powdercoated for the extra protection... but with that said, newer batteries seal better so maybe not...
curious - have you ever road the bike with the orig. handle bars? i had the originals on my xs650, and when i put clubman bars on mine - holy hell, it made an amazing difference. it feels so much more planted. you'll love it if you're used to riding newer bikes
and it looks great. i'm lovin' this build.
