Question Endurance & tips for UK road trip

Hi, I am considering a road trip of about 1200 miles in the UK over 3 or 4 days later this year and wondered if anybody has some experience of covering this sort of distance in the UK and if there were any useful/unusual/obscure tips you came across on route.
Looking to start on south coast, over to kent, up the east coast, across the hills, back down the west coast/welsh border, into Cornwall then back to the south coast.
All this on a 1993 CBR1000F

Hi buddy ... I'm not really sure what you're looking for info wise .... I regularly do 1 day 300 to 400 mile rides tho ... what do you want to know specifically? Are we talking about how to prep the bike? What to pack for a few days riding? Points of interest? ..... ???

3 day ride in the UK?

I would suggest a brolly, a thermos of hot chocolate, and some water displacer for the electrics.

Ok... regardless of what type of overnight facilities youre planning on ..... get some of that self sealing stuff put into your tyres, take some basic tools, tie wraps, duct tape, & bits of wire. Make sure you have some "get you home" breakdown cover. Waterproof oversuits can be folded away, but if it rains you'll be glad you have em Take the least amount of stuff possible...... Plan each day, but you dont have to stick to it ... be flexible. Make each days plan realistic. Don't take a sat nav, some of the best "finds" on rideouts are the ones you arent expecting!

EDIT: And dont forget your phone AND charger!

Sounds like your going to have a good ride round. Im in Durham area North East, when your up this end of the country if you need ANYTHING, coffee, help, tools, stop over just shout. Rob.

Iv not done a ride over a few days either but as Shakey says waterproofs & basic tools. your servicing the bike before you go so no worries ENJOY.

Thanks for your suggestions, hadn't thought about a flask. This is now getting bigger than a few days! Wife's idea to turn it into a 5 or 6 day round robin of UK raising money for charity! B&B sounds best as it reduces the load carrying! I will keep let you all know once plans get under way!
Be safe
