FILIPPO PREZIOSI, Direttore Generale Ducati Corse

“After these two days of tests we will go back to Ducati for a meeting, where we will decide which path to take between the two engines, the big bang and the screamer, although the information we have is pointing towards the former. It will be a decision we will make by analyzing the data in depth as well as planning the way forward around all the other things we learnt at the test. The objective is clearly to allow Valentino to ride like Valentino! We know we have to improve the bike in order to achieve this, especially the front end. He has given us some very precise information and now it is down to us to use it. We would obviously have liked to give him the opportunity to go faster today but even though that wasn't the case he has impressed everybody over the last two days with the way he works, his calm approach and his positive attitude towards everything. Nicky also worked very hard, as usual, and set a good lap time on the new Bridgestones as well as the ones we were already using, which is another big positive. Now we have to work to give them both a more competitive bike for the next test.”

We know we have to improve the bike in order to achieve this, especially the front end.
This is exactly the reason I don't think Stoner was whining when he talked about the bike not having feeling in the front. When its the truth, its the truth, no matter who states it. I don't think it was ever a slam on his team for not being able to figure out the front end feel. He always included himself in his statements as not being able to figure out the front end.

However, if I had seen him throwing a fit, I guess my opinion could change on him as well. But without knowing why, its hard to say. He could have been just pissed at himself.. who knows.

There are many fans of Pedrosa who like him and think he is awesome.. Even though I watched him progress, so I know a different Pedrosa and his image will never change for me no matter what he accomplishes. So I guess I can see your point, we just have different opinions from different viewpoints. But either way, it will be exciting to watch.

I'll say this much. Rossi has made it clear to Ducati to what he needs from the bike and to change it. Ducati heard him by saying the words he was precise!!! Now if those changes are made and it works for Rossi....... LOOK OUT !!! Ducati has made it clear that they want the championship in 2011. Even though Rossi has been on the top more so then anyone he is my favorite. He isn't the 7th highest payed athlete in the world for nothing.

Take a look at what the Surgoen had to say about his shoulder. I'd say it effected his whole season along with a leg injury. I think Febuary test we're going to see a different story.

Rossi, with out a doubt has the history to say he is the favorite, but all good things come to a end... As it was for Hayden, Stoner & now Lorenzo, who can be a repeat champion? Rossi is the only current rider to do so. Will he knock the new kid off the block or someone else or will Lorenzo prove he can do it back to back... Since 2010 is offically in the book I will open up a new thread "Racing 2011", so we can dicuss & debate our views of 2011.

Could this be Pedrosa's year? I do feel Honda have the best bikes & some of the top riders. A win win scenerio!!!

you know its the wrong thread right.... this thread is 2010 - but idk, he's such a fair weather rider you know? i mean, when the conditions are right and he's on form - he's unstoppable it seems like. but it just seems like there's so many other weekends where things go wrong and he doesn't do as well as he should?

and i do think honda is going to take this season - easily. stoner, pedrosa, dovi, simoncelli. thats a dream team almost
