Please imagine lots of ooh's and aaaahh's from me while looking at the new bike.

As for shedding weight, maybe leave the rear disc alone, it looks like it's mainly thin air anyway!

You'd loose more weight taking a dump

So, at last, FINALLY, the new race machine is in my possession, at my house! Woohoo!

Conrice, we had discussed the exhaust system earlier in this thread, but now that I have it, I learned something more and exciting, and that is that it is a full titanium system!! Not sure why I was surprised, since this was an AMA bike after all, but it was nice to learn of that!

I can't wait to get started with this thing - all that I've done so far, is to clean the bike, and strip the previous number plates, so I can get my number on it.
I would have left the plate graphics, and just removed the previous numbers, replacing them with my 72, but as it turns out, those plates had the numbers printed on them, rather than separate numbers.
So, I have to either paint the plates on, like I did with my previous race bike, or keep trying to locate some precut plate graphics, or someone that can make some custom, but be reasonably priced... I've searched and searched for pre-cut plates for this year and model, but shockingly have turned up nil.

If there are any racers out there that have a source for pre-cut number plate graphics for this generation of RR, by all means, chime in!

Hey, sorry I "Zzzzz'd" on this thread JNS, but that thing looks great. I wonder how much that titanium exhaust weighs.

Ah hell, you haven't missed anything at all! I've done virtually nothing to this bike yet!

Me too! I'm not going to pull it just to weigh it, but if I have an even half valid reason to take it off, I will definitely be getting it on the scale!

Sad news - this race bike is being sold!

If anyone's interested, see the Bikes For Sale area.
