Default Braking & ABS

I asked this on the BMW forum. But I'm not sure some of those guys know what the lever on the right grip is for

Ok, my 2011 is fully loaded and stock. Riding in Race mode. Tire pressure is 32 / 35 front / rear. I've never had the ABS indicator light up, indicating the system intervened. With the s1k, the different riding modes cause the ABS / TC to intervene later and later.

Lately I've been working on the brakes harder and harder, practicing to overcome a fear of mine (not being able to stop in time). While practicing, the feedback I'm recieving from the front is its getting ready to slip. I've slipped the front on other bikes enough that I'm nearly positive this is what I'm experiencing. But again, I've never had the system intervene according to the light.

So my question is: is this a sign that I'm nearing the traction threshold defined by the ABS system for Race mode. I don't remember experiencing this when I was riding in Sport or Rain mode. I've also never had a bike with ABS before so I wouldn't know what to expect if / when / before / during ABS intervening.

Thought Race mode turned ABS off to the rear and only gave pulse feedback through
the front lever with no lights !

What year we talking K ? is yours a 2012 or 2011 model year

Yolie is a 2011. I'm not using the rear during braking practice. Trying to work the front. Race mode does turn off rear lift intervention. So I gotta watch that I don't stoppie.

I am getting feedback that my front tire pressure is low. Dunno bout that but might try raising the psi a bit
