Setup Vision Boots
I picked up a pair of these boots for $129.99 and took it around the block to try them on.

Coming from wearing tennis shoes, these boots are an awesome improvement. Shifting is made effortless. The toe protection is awesome. It has a very "steel-toe" feel to them. The boot wraps my feet very nicely and provides great ankle protection as well. The boots go up to the shins and the shinguard there helps provide protection if you ever hit anything there. My feet feels VERY protected and I can't imagine riding without them anymore. These are recommended for sport riding and occasional track-use. Because of that, the protection cannot be compared to those of a more track-designed boot. Regardless, the protection is there for those more fragile parts (ankles, toes, shin).
These boots are manufactured by Sidi boots in Italy, so these boots bear a very similar build quality to that of Sidi boots. These are apparently made as a cheaper alternative to those who want Sidi boots but not at Sidi cost. A value, economy line.
Since these are my first pair of boots, I cannot give a full comparison but based on what I felt by trying on different pairs of boots AND opinions of some riders who have rode for years, these are a very good value and bang-for-the-buck.
I'm very satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend this boots for those who are looking for more protection than regular shoes but don't want to spend too much money.

I want a boot that is protective, yet not so bulky that I would not be able to wear jeans over them. I noticed these boots but was wondering if anybody here could comment on the fit of these boots and if anybody here wears them with jeans. Any input would be greatly appreciated
