Matte black Shoei RF-1000, I removed all the decals And I absolutely love it 10 outta 10 allthough I did go into cycle gear and get fitted for it so thats why its perfect. doesn't fog up for me has great ventilation that I can close to keep warm I love the helmet so much I bought a second one just in case something happened to my first one.

the black one is mine.. its a Vega Altura XPV.. its very well ventilated and comfortable, but it seems like my chin sticks out of the bottom of it just a little bit.. overall id give it an 8/10.. the pink one is my girl's and she seems to like it..its a ZR1.. its not as well ventilated as mine, but her chin doesnt stick out at all also an 8/10

it seems like higher $ helmets are what most people are wearing for quality,
but the vega is priced around $100 and still is a 8 outa 10, i wonder how they compare to the cheaper helmets.

scorpion exo 500
i went to it from an HJC(dont know what model) that i got 4 or 5 years ago.
its more comfortable, breathes a little better, and air flows over it better. But the best part of it is that it has a smoked visor inside of it that slides down

IV2 modulator. cheap as far as price goes. chin guard fell off first day. very noisy. but for 50 bucks it's pretty good. the slider on the top of the helmet for the smoked visor fell off the first week somewhere on the 169. Didn't try to go find it so i just manually pull it down and up from the visor itself. I never have issues with my face itching until i have a helmet it on, modulators help with that. Though i find I look like a dork with it up. for a 50 dollar helmet it deserves a 7 out of 10 hey it's DOT. From my experience with this modulator however, too many features with too many parts subject your helmet to alot more issues. My next helmet will be plain and simple. probably the go for broke by speed and strength.
