While they were available in the US, I bought a pair of Setup boots, made by SIDI. It was a good boot and saved my foot from major damage during a lowside. I did have some minor injury and considering the time it takes foot injuries to heal, I'm considering upgrading my boots.

If you get a foot injury, chances are high that it will manifest in your posture (back), hip, neck and shoulders because you will compensate for the pain.

If you want cost effective, consider something like a TCX boot. It's name brand and inexpensive.

I know some here cant afford the more popular boots some of us wear. But I would suggest at least sticking to names you know and have heard of.

It's your feet but I can't see where the ankle support is (the main point of wearing boots).
