Cool Scorpion EXO 400/700 Aero Skirt Review

So I've been meaning to pick one of these up for a while; today I got one. There aren't too may pictures of these installed in helmets, so I thought I'd post some

Paid $7.95 for it at Performance Cycle of Colorado, Denver. The piece is well constructed. The inside is a neoprene type material, the outside is imitation leather. The part that fits into the helmet is a hard, yet pliable plastic somehow incorporated into the faux leather, thus giving it a solid one piece feel to it. It's very easy to put on & take off, but once it’s on, it stays there. Helmet placement/removal on the head is not impeded by this accessory. Although it does not alleviate all wind noise, it does cut down on it considerably. I’m also hoping this will keep most insects out of my face, in particular wasps (been there).

As you can see, once it's on it looks like it belongs there and dresses up the helmet quite nicely, imo.

I'd like to say yes, however I was only able to use it for two days (weather), and it was really windy around here. Like crazy windy. So I wasn't able to make a conclusive determination, you know? The one thing I did notice however, was that the turbulence (in the face) was indeed diminished. My eyes have a tendency to dry out, and I think this will help. We'll see...

i have had the skirt on mine for a while now and its definitely worth the money, it does reduce the wind noise quite a bit and prevents the airflow from underneath the helmet, im glad i got it

This thing is a must in cold weather..... I have one on mine and it makes a huge difference.
As far as noise, most of the noise comes from the vents on my scorpion so if they are closed and the skirt is on, I dont need ear plugs. if the vents are open or the shirt is gone though...... gotta have plugs.
