Default New gear... for Yolie

So I'm pretty well geared but the BMW is naked. So when i take her in for the first service, she'll be getting some gear installed too

SW-Motech frame sliders. The styling is what caught my eye. But I've also heard good things when they've been 'tested' too. Luckily, most sliders for the BMW don't require cutting of the fairings too

R&G front axle slider. Never had axle sliders before but it makes sense to protect the forks if possible.

R&G offset swingarm spools. Never felt completely comfortable using swingarm stand to lift the rear of a bike. And these will help protect the swingarm as well.

Looking for case savers as well. Yoshimura has some but I heard they discolor in time. Not looking to completely cover the case so I'm still looking.

Come through and buy some woodcraft goodies! I'm pretty much going the same route - the frame inserts + fender eliminator + levers + seat. I wish I had spotted those frame sliders before I bought a set of Puigs. And wouldn't you know it, I bought a set for a 2011 so now I gotta wait and buy a whole 'nother set to correct my mistake.

Those are some nice (& very useful) options.

She's also sporting the SW-Motech Bag Connection Blaze Sport Bike Saddlebags. LOVE THEM! Didn't have to wear the backpack, which woulda been uncomfortable on the 140+ mile round trip. And the bags + framework disconnects in less than 30 sec, just leaving the brackets on the passenger foot pegs.

Very very nice. Those saddlebags are pretty nifty and fit the bike well. One question though. Is your CBR getting jealous yet?
