Need Some Help Finding Pants?
I'm new here and to riding and i needs some riding pants. I don't really know what to look for or what is good. I just wear jeans now but want something better.
There are a lot of choices but to narrow down the search it would be good to know a couple of things...
1 - What kind of riding are you doing? Pushing it in the twisties, loafing around town, piling up miles?
2 - What sort of weather are you planning to ride in? Hot/humid, cold/rainy, all the time, only when it's perfect?
3 - Are you a leather-only kind of guy?
A starting point is to admit that if you don't like them you won't wear them and gear sitting in the closet is worse than worthless. Think about what would you actually wear when you go riding.

Good write-up Bimmerx.
If you figure out you just want to start with some riding pants/jeans for now, I recommend the ICON RECON DENIMS.
They're sturdy but light pants, true to size, and very comfortable. Black was my fancy, the blue was a little much.
Found them on http://www.motosport.com/street/index.php
Buy something else to get the price over 100 and have them in 2 days.
