A double layer of aluminum foil over your helmet will block alien sensor waves from reading your mind while watching TV.

Maybe it should be a CBRforum requirement to wear helmets while watching motorcycle racing on TV, with a picture thread to prove it.

Can't do pics until the weekend as I'm away on a course, but don't worry, pic of me wearing lid, watching the TV with 1 eye and reading MCN with the other will be top priority when I get home

Again, a little offtopic and then again not...

Well this proved to be a bit of a challenge. I searched high and low without any luck of finding anything that`ll promise to stick into a helmet. Every shop the same thing, sold out and due to poor sale no more coming. It`s available at @stores but ask me am I going to order an 8euro product and pay another 8e to transport fees.

So, I went to a supermarket and semi-accidentaly ran across a roll of 3M reflector tape, only it`s 50mm (2") wide so I had to dig out my best crafting knife and get creative. I didn`t want to do anything that`ll pop up too much, and tried to keep it as it could have been from the factory, so I ended up with this:

IMO the back came out pretty good, I tried to do the same to the front but the grooves were too small and the sticker came out so thin it didn`t stick properly, so I put it under the visor where it should be protected from water and insect hits. Propably still want to do some details that`ll show the turn of the head better... Was also planning to stick a red LED strip into my rack box for extra braking light if I find it somewhere without ordering online. Gotta go see this one electronic components shack I worked at one summer.

Yes it did. Good job! Looks great.

The key to any decal adhering is helmet surface prep... You've got to remove all the oils from hands, polish, etc. A quick wipe w/ windex or rubbing alcohol usually does the trick.

This is the reflective tape I use. Its avail at any walmart or home improvement store (doubt you have those where you live tho Mattson). Notice it says at the top of the pkg - 'Safety markings for home, auto, bike.' :-)

My weapon of choice, the packing says "for trailers, driveways, mailboxes, minivans, farm equipment, RVs and campers, watercraft and bicycles" so it should stick into a helmet too. I did a quick wipe with a turtle wax window cleaner spray cause I didn`t have any better at hand, if they fall off I have some citric acid based stuff in the garage purely designed to remove leftover glue and prep a surface to take an advert tape. I worked at an advertisement firm as a taper (or whatever...) for a few months before the trucking and got some useful skills there how to tape tricky, curvy surfaces like helmets and bike fairings.
