Default Looking for helmet communication suggestions

Ok so me and one of my long time riding friends are looking to buy a helmet communication system, to make it easier to talk on long rides with each other. I am totally lost in this subject. So any help finding anything would be awesome.

Here's the lowdown on what specs I am looking for.

A system that will work on two different bikes ( most I could find are for one bike with a passenger )

And fancy system isn't necessary, looking to spend around 200 bucks for both setups.

I've got the Midland BT2's. They are a Bluetooth intercom system. Will sync to your phone and another transciever. They also have an analog stereo input. Recharge-able seem to last for the time I'm out on the scooter. I use my phone for a MP3 player to wire-lessly jam. If a phone-call comes in it beeps to let me know. Then you can either speak or push a button to answer. Not sure of the range for a bike-bike connection, though. They say 200 feet but I've lost DD (my wife) at less when off the bike. You could probably use the cell-phone connection for use over longer ranges and just not hang-up. It took me 2 months of regular checking on e-bay but I scooped my pair up for $125. I'm very happy with them.

there are a couple of players in the market, Midland, Scalia, etc. If you do a couple of googles and amazons for the research and reviews, it will help you narrow down the field.

Hope this helps, Ern

Thanks Ern, I will check into those. Where we do most of our riding at is in the mountains, with no cell coverage. I wish that they had something that worked like those old 2 way radio's, those things would reach up to two miles.
