helmet question

i hold my helmet by the chin sometimes and it's fine.

nah, when i do walk around w/ it......i loop the chin strap through both "D" hooks and hold it like that. i never hold it by the chin of the helmet.

well i sent Icon an email yesterday. couldnt find any numbers to call. idk, i doubt i'll hear back from them though.

never hurts to try man. If you really want to get that piece to stick on you need to use plastic epoxy That should hold it. Not sure where you can find it at try a hardware store.

well after searching the web i couldnt find anyway of contacting ICON by phone, so all that was left was email. so i got a reply from them today that said "the helmet should have a 1yr warranty. you need to take that back to the dealer that you purchased it from and take that up w/ them". the thing is.....ive had this helmet since the endof '05. i've NEVER worn the helmet at all (other than trying it on when it first came in the mail) until just recently a week ago when i got my first bike. so here it is less than two weeks of WEARING it and its falling apart. so that 1yr warranty wont work for me, but i havent even been using the helmet until recently. idk, i found some glue that has it semi sticking right now. i'll search for the epoxy you're speaking of bro (thanks for the advice by the way) but if that doesnt work it looks like i'll be ripping it off.
