Default Helmet cleaning

The outside's a no-brainer, but how do you clean the INSIDE? I've got a Scorpion EXO-1000. . .can I take the pads out and throw them in the wash? It's dirty as hell in there, and I hate rubbing all that crap all over my face. . .

pull them out, if they look durable enough send them through the wash. But if they have a lot of netting and stuff just wash them by hand, wouldnt wanna see the washing machine tear up the padding. I usually wash by hand myself. And just a heads up, there are a couple companies that sell stuff to spray inside helmets to keep them clean. I got a can but the label fell off so i couldnt tell ya who makes it.

Found this:

Reads like some serious Scorpion propaganda, but who'd know how to clean it better?
