I personally love EXO, I have an EXO-400 Medium and an EXO0-700 Large. Medium fits snuggly, and large fits well. You helmet should make you a little uncomfortable when brand new...as it will break in eventually.

 

a side note, every helmet should be replaced 5 years from its manufactured date, as the foam inside of the helmet will become rigid and lose its compressibility over the years. so if a helmet was made in 09, it doesnt have a lot of life left.

However, its all personal choice. you dont have to tell me that someone has been using the same helmet for X number of year and never had any problem.... I personally dont mess with safety gear.
