Default Anyone Wear Sidi Boots?

I found a brand new pair of Sidi Vertigo boots online for $275 + $10 for shipping and wanted to know if anyone has a pair and would recommend them? I know typical Sidi Vertigo would run $300 and getting it for $285 isn't a steal but I've been meaning to get boots and I heard Sidi is the way to go.

I wish I had a pair! Yeah, I've got a buddy that brags on his. He says you can leave 'em in a bathtub full of water and they'll be dry inside, 30 min later.

One of these days....

I have Sidi Vertigos & recommend them. I wear them for commuting, twisties, & track. You will not be disappointed if you decide to buy them. Mine were $350 when I got them. $285 shipped is a good deal. FWIW, they sell very well on the used gear mkt as well.

I ended up counter offering and I stole it for $280 shipped. Gotta love eBay. Been putting off buying boots for far too long. Here's a photo of the pair I purchased.

Boots came in yesterday. Very slick and fit like a glove. My feet feel a hellava lot safer wearing the sidi's over my previous boots. So far Its money well spent. Only complaint is that they are not the best boot to walk around with. Has a very stiff sole which is no doubt for my protection. Unless I can brake them in I'm probably only going to use them for long rides/the track or carry another pair of shoes around with me. Other than that the only word to describe them is "Awesome"

May I say, these Sidi or any Italian high quality race/street boots...once you go for one, you won't go back...

May take a few rides to get used to, may need minor adjustment to shifter angle...but once you go pro, ain't going back to old. FWIW, you get what you pay for...

But is money is an issue, I rather wait, eBay hunting...sometimes a great deal pops up and happens to be your size. Lightly used is alot cheaper...Lysol LOL...
