Default Arai rx-7 problem

So i just got an rx-7 corsair. At first it feels great but after about 30 minutes of riding i seem to develop a slight headache. It seems to be from pressure on my head. The part i find intersting is that its not pressure from the forhead or the sides, its from the top. It almost feels like the helmet is really heavy weighing down on the top of my head. what gives? any suggestions?

That is no good. There should be a little bit of pressure all around your head. Have you tried a smaller size RX-7? The weight should be more evenly distributed around your whole noggin, but if it is not a size issue, one of the other differently shaped models could be more comfy.

Maybe check out their head-shape page. There is a pdf explaining different head shapes and what not. Really just sounds like you have one size too big...

I know this is old, but to clear it up for everyone else (I'm sure you've already figured this out), the liner has to break in. I had a headache from my quantum but after a day or so it was good and has been good ever since

That's not the only reason. Helmets are shaped differently. I had to go back to Shoei since Arai just didn't fit right. I had it for 10 months so it was properly broke in.

I guess I neglected to say Arai's are for round heads, and Shoei's are for "oblong" heads. Or so it seems.
