Default CBR 125R starting issue.

I'm sadly having to sell my bike.
It's been sat for a little while so i recharged the battery and when ive tried to start it I had no power. However when slightly turning the key to the off position but no fully off i get power and the bike starts but it doesn't happen everytime. Sometimes the bike will run fine once the keys released other times the bike will cut off. I'm not really sure what's wrong with it and any advice will be appreciated.

It's a guess but id say mucky contacts in the switch.

Is there any chance of opening it? If not then a soaking in spray cleaner.
