Default Bike only clicks when starting. Cbr 600f2 -92

So bike only clicks while starting. Starter motor does not turn, only click from solenoid (?) is heard.
first guess was battery was bad. Bought new one. Bike worked fine for couple of days. Today the same thing, bike wouldn’t start, again only one click is heard. Checked the battery, it’s fine, there is power and other electronics in bike work fine.
I still don’t know at all what causes the problem cuz the fault seems to come and go as it pleases… pls help.

and yes, bike works now normally, but I am sure the fault comes again sooner or later.

Do you have 2 fuses on starter-solenoid? Post photo.

You've got electrical problem. Unless you are Superman and can see electrons moving inside wires, there's absolutely ZERO way any human can just look at electronics and determine its ability to conduct electricity.

Do following measurements:

1. battery power with everything off, volts = ????

2. battery power with key ON, stop-switch=RUN, volts = ???

3. battery power when pushing start-button, volts = ???

Refering to solenoid fuse, I was being idiot. The fuse was apprently only spare one, so no wonder it didn’t have any effect on the bike.
(the fuse I’m talking about is located under the the starter solenoid, and has no connection whatsoever to the electronics of the bike. The ”real” fuse is apparently inside the solenoid…)

I check the battery again today, but I’m pretty sure its fine. By ”electronics working” I meant that lights are bright, they don’t dim, horn works fine etc. Etc.

Do those 3 measurements. The numbers will tell exactly what's wrong and how to fix it.

1.Battery power with everything off. Volts = 13,19

2.Battery power with key ON, stop-switch=RUN. Volts = 12,99

3.Battery power when pushing start-button. Volts = first drop under 12, then go up again once bike is running. There is video as reference, I had to compress it to fit the maximum file size but I believe numbers are still recognizable.

The bike starts pretty rough, as you can hear from the video. Before yesterday it started with no problems but yesterday and today it takes some effort to get it running....

4. measure power at starter-solenoid yel/red wire. Press start-button, volts = ???

You most likely have corrosion on connector terminals of wiring-harness and switch contacts. Honda uses low-quality unsealed bare-brass terminals that corrode over time and prevent full transfer of power across.

Need to take apart all connectors and clean terminals until you #4 measurement is same as #1 batteyr.
