i've heard nothing but good things about the old xl series

 

yeah the bike is great, but i went to the dmv today and found out the original owner is deceased and the guy i bought it from has no info on the wife who signed the title for her husband in her own name. so to make the dmv happy i had to send two certified letters to her previous addresses asking for copies of certain documents. when they return unopened the dmv will be happy. The next problem is the bike was never registered for street legal use so i have to get a brake and light inspection. nothing too difficult except acquiring 6v parts to get all the lights up to par. but i guess thats what ebay is for.
