I'm looking to get my first bike. I saw this one Craigslist. I'd really prefer a CBR600F4i, but I found this one and its cheap. I can't spend more than $2000.

That ZX6 is a turd. Looks pretty clean, but I wouldnt pay 15 for that (actually wouldnt consider buyin that peice..) You would be better off with an F2. Only paid 900 for my F2, and theres some even cheaper. Hell, for 15-2000 you can find a stunted 2000and up model

 

I cant seem to find any old F2's or any old hondas at all... : \

Where should I look, I've tried Cycletrader, and I surf craigslist for hours...

 

Honestly it doesn't seem like a bad deal to me.. not the perfect bike I would choose. But it looks clean as hell and thats not a bad price.. something that condition around here people would be asking 3k.

 

thats not to bad looking i owned a kawi once and i think they make good bikes. But i love my honda and i would probably wait for one to come up while i save my money. I think the kawis have a neutral finder when your stopped. For instance if your driving up and come to a complete stop on second gear if you just hit the clutch it'll go to N. I dont know or even know if thats important to you. Just saying though lol

I went to some dealerships today, I can afford a brand new bike, I was just avoiding it because I'd rather have something I could lay down and it not bother me as much...

If I drop a brand new bike, I'll hate myself... If I drop an already scratched up bike... meh

I went to the honda bike dealer, and they only have 1 salesman... and he had left early... this was at 2 in the afternoon... wtf... They had like 4 finance managers... and NONE of them would come out of their offices... I had to go to the PARTS guy and he pulled the inventory and said they had no used bikes, and only 2 CBR's and one was black/green 2009, and the other was a black 1000. I dont want either... : \

So I drove to Yamaha/Kawi/Zuki, and they showed me the R6, and it was like 10k, and showed me the Gsxr6 and it was also like... 10k, and then showed me a brand new ZX6R Kawi, and it was only 6.5k... Black... good looking bike... but IDK... if im spending that kind of money, I'd way rather have a CBR...

I found a 2009 here locally with the sexiest paint job... it has 2k miles on it, and they want 6.7k for it... here's a pic

 

That's the Phoenix edition. Yes, it's very sexy and pretty rare to see. If I could afford it, I'd have gotten the 2010 Leyla edition.

Actually I can afford it but I just don't want another monthly payment the way the economy is acting

SO do you think 6.7k is a good price for a phoenix with 2k miles on it?
