So I switched sides for now...
Hi all,
I had posted last year about my F3 cbr600 and it was all well and good for awhile. But then it wasn't running right and wouldn't start below 50 degrees. After I tried everything possible with carbs and fuel delivery actually without tearing apart the engine I just sold it. I had a few other projects and really didn't feel like dealing with it anymore.
But this year I started to get the itch to ride again and I found a great deal a couple of days ago on my new to me bike; a 2001 YZFR6.
Although it isn't really my preference of sport bike, it runs beautifully. In fact on this fine 34 degree morning I started it up and rode it 50 minutes to school.
Here's a picture of it parked at my school. I do love parking just a few feet from the door haha!

Oh yeah, I definitely agree with you. I wasn't trying to put down R6's, I just would have rather gotten an f4(i). My R6 runs good and I think it looks great, even better than my F3 cbr looked in my opinion, so I'm happy with it so far.
Plus my favorite color is blue so I'm in heaven when it comes to that. Haha.
I eventually want a CBR1000rr but after riding a 600cc that actually runs well, I think I still have some time before I'm ready for a sportbike of that caliber.
