chain adjuster on both sides

Default chain adjuster on both sides

there is a c-clip (snap ring) on the screw to turning the adjusters. do u need to take it off to tighten or loosen? is it lefty loosey and righty tidy? Thanks.

No, you don't take them off, just loosen the axle bolt so that it can slide... and yes, it's lefty loosey ~ righty tighty So you'd loosen them to obtain less slack, and tighten to gain more slack.
