I can tell you now what kinda vibration to expect....ALOT!! LOL Cruise around 2K rpm's and slowly roll on the throttle. It'll rattle the fillings out of your teeth. Buddy of mine had a 1960s Honda 305 Dream. It was even fire like yours. It vibrated so bad I couldn't ride it long at all. I have tendinitis in my wrists so that really aggravated it. Those crazy handlebars on yours don't help either. Most uncomfortable things I've tried to hold onto.
Anyways, back to your project. You'll want to pull the head anyways. After sitting that long, new valve seals are a must. Be sure and take pics as you proceed. Wish you lived closeby, cause I can guarantee you some free help LOL.

bump - lol that took forever, the wife got me into some home renovation projects that kept me from tearing into the yamaha. that and I was still figuring out how to get it titled/registered in my name.
Got the paperwork done today and paid the grand total of $34 to the DMV for title & registration. I can officially start the teardown now. I've pretty much decided to go semi-mod street tracker direction. Have no idea what it'll end up looking like, but I do know I have a set of F2 forks, triple, front wheel/rotors laying around.
something this direction would be cool though:
